UK Train Interior Ambience
We wanted to add to a recent sample pack (Train Station Ambience) so that it allowed any Sound Designer the ability to complete their project from someone waiting in a Train Station to the Train Journey.
We recorded the natural ambience of a UK train Interior, taking a Northern journey from Preston to Manchester Piccadilly and back again.
Not only did we record the general ambience of the train interior, we managed to capture the sound of the engines idle, departing and slowing down, the natural creak of the train and the typical sound of a train movement, as well as passengers boarding and debarking, the general Northern chatter and movement of the everyday commuter, as well as various beeps, doors shutting and tannoy calls/communication.
